We have gathered in the Centrum Zarządzania Światem in the evening of the 5th of September.

I had a chance to express my gratitude over a glass of wine and to enjoy the moment with people who wish me well.

I am so happy that so many of you found time to be with me this day!

Exhibition #theSHORES

THE SHORES exhibition represents a moment… The moment in which you know you're in between.

Between dreams, decisions, feelings, worlds.

You can feel that this moment is so seemingly small - but it changes everything.

It's like coming Home to me.

THE SHORES have been the leitmotif of my work for over a year now, although recently I also see them in the textures and patterns of stones and plants, colors that are different from the rocky shores dangerously washed by the sea of ​​uncertainty.

I paint with watercolors, acrylic paints and I smile more and more boldly at oil paintings.

I am a lawyer with many years of experience working in the network of the European Commission. I regularly worked as a screenwriter and art director for TVN Warner Bros. Discovery, co-creating the station's image spots campaigns in the years 2018 - 2022. I write scripts for films and series that are now on various production stages.

I paint because I feel.

I paint because I like to give other eyes a moment of a deep breath shrouded in mystery.

I paint because, after many, many years, this inner strength has found me and stayed for good.

So far my work has been featured in virtual exhibitions and recently at The Old Lock Up Gallery in Cromford (UK).

BRZEGI to dla mnie chwila…

Moment w którym wiesz, że stoisz pomiędzy. Pomiędzy marzeniami, decyzjami, uczuciami, światami. Czujesz, że to ten moment, tak pozornie niewielki - a zmienia wszystko.

To powrót do Domu.

BRZEGI pozostają od dawna myślą przewodnią mojej twórczości, choć ostatnio widzę je także w fakturach i wzorach kamieni i roślin, barwach kolorystycznie odmiennych od skalistych brzegów niebezpiecznie obmywanych morzem niepewności.

Maluję akwarelami, farbami akrylowymi i coraz śmielej uśmiecham się do olejnych.

Jestem prawniczką z wieloletnim doświadczeniem pracy w sieci Komisji Europejskiej. Cyklicznie pracowałam jako scenarzystka i dyrektorka artystyczna dla TVN Warner Bros. Discovery, współtworząc spoty wizerunkowe stacji w latach 2018 - 2022. Piszę scenariusze do filmów i seriali, które są aktualnie na różnych etapach produkcji.

Maluję, bo czuję.

Maluję, bo lubię dawać innym oczom chwilę wytchnienia owianego tajemniczością.

Maluję, bo po wielu, wielu latach ta siła sama mnie odnalazła i została ze mną na dobre.

Moje prace pojawiają się na wystawach wirtualnych, a ostatnio także w The Old Lock Up Gallery w Cromford (UK) - ale o tym przy innej okazji ;)

BLUE CLIFFS

How I miss the south of Europe, where the days are long, warm and (not) always sunny.

And the north of Poland, where beloved (at any time of the year) beaches await!

I love the clouds quarreling over the bays, the waves forming an angry chorus.

All the drama of seaside days always calmed me down. Always.

Maybe that's how the people born by the sea feel?

Anyway, it's hard to find these moments in the center of a crowded city, far from the sea…

But I hope that I will feel this wind, noise, singing and silence hugging me soon.

In the meantime, I've kept some seaside paintings...

Jak ja tęsknię za południem Europy, gdzie dni są długie, ciepłe i (nie)zawsze słoneczne.

I za północą Polski, gdzie czekają ukochane (o każdej porze roku) plaże!

Uwielbiam chmury kłócące się nad zatokami, fale tworzące gniewny chór.

Cały dramatyzm nadmorskich dni zawsze mnie uspokajał. Zawsze.

Może tak mają po prostu ci znad morza?

Ciężko te momenty odnależć w centrum zatłoczonego miasta, daleko od morza…

Mam nadzieję, że już niedługo poczuję ten wiatr, szum, spiew i tulącą mnie ciszę.

Tymczasem zachowałam niektóre nadmorskie obrazy...
