a blink of an eye

Słońce zachodzi,

myśli jaśnieją,

czerń wyprzedzi

niepokoju granat.

Samotność uspokaja

w morzu obezwładniającego lęku.

Chwytam więc zmierzch

i pragnę z nim tańczyć do rana,

w opowieści bez zakończenia…

Można powiedzieć, że zrobiłam ten kolaż z moim bardzo chorym Tatą. Jakby był w lepszej formie pewnie spodobałby mu się zarówno wiersz jak i skrzydło, które dawno temu naszkicował, a ja wplotłam do swoich zdjęć.

The sun goes down,

thoughts are lighting the darkness.

But the black will overtake

anxiety of my blues.

Loneliness calms me down

in a sea of overwhelming fear.

So I catch the twilight

and I want to dance with it till the sunset,

in a story with no ending ...

You could say that I made this collage with my very sick Dad. If he were in a better shape, he would probably like both the poem and the wing that he sketched a long time ago, and which I placed between my photos.

blue

A large city, crowded, around her a sea of sounds of joyful meetings of friends with loved ones. Bustling, brightness permeates the shadows of street corners, everyone heads somewhere, strives for something…

She’s filled with the wine of the truth and dilemmas, difficult decisions clung to the chest, breathing is hard, among the winding streets she should turn in the right direction, although the awareness that good choices are already far behind them overwhelms. This train is not going backwards, it's heading to its destination. Distraction with flashes of focus and enlightenment.

Awakening is often more painful than revealing. Weakens. Gets you blocked. How to capture this sense so that does not disappear in the hustle and bustle of everyday life rush. Is it really worth it? She doesn't know that. Maybe the clock of the future is counting the time for the response. She'll wait for the next station…

Duże miasto, zatłoczone, wokół morze dźwięków radosnych spotkań w gronie bliskich z najbliższymi. Gwarno, jasność przenika się z cieniem ulicznych zakamarków, każdy gdzieś zmierza, do czegoś dąży.

Idzie przepełniona winem prawdy i rozterki, trudne decyzje przylgnęły do klatki piersiowej, ciężko oddychać, wśród krętych uliczek należy skręcić we właściwą stronę choć przytłacza świadomość, że dobre wybory są już daleko za nami. Ten pociąg już się nie cofnie, zmierza do celu. Roztargnienie z przebłyskami skupienia z oświeceniem.

Przebudzenie częściej bywa bardziej bolesne niż odkrywcze. Osłabia. Zatyka. Jak je uchwycić by nie przepadło w zgiełku codzienności i pospiechu. Warto? Tego nie wie. Może zegar przyszłości odmierza czas odpowiedzi. Zaczeka na następną stację.
