I am a fan of the documentary films, even those made for promotional purposes. There was one of Beyonce, called The year of 4 back in 2011 which I watched a couple of times.
It came back to my mind while making this set of cards, using my palette called 4. Not only the number was similar, but also the fact that the singer made a year off over a decade ago to find out where is she going, what goals she has.
This is exactly what I did last year, after the death of my beloved father…
Here is where I am now, at the end of my year of 4…
Do I know the answers?
Well, as the Master Gauguin once said:
stay firmly in your path and dare to be wild two hours a day
So this is what I know for sure today and practice it daily ;)
All three of them are slightly smaller than my usual paintings shown HERE for example, namely it’s:
watercolor | 15 cm x 10.6 cm | on 350gsm paper | 2022
I used the same color palette as while making the Transylvania TRIO.
It was so lovely to show it to a very best friend of mine and to hear right away - These three are mine! I buy them right away! ;)
So yes - this set of 3 is already SOLD.
But the new ones are coming soon!
